ScrubAI — Local Log Sanitizer for LLMs

ScrubAI is a privacy-focused sanitization tool designed to prepare technical logs and diagnostic data before sharing them with LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or AI coding assistants.

The goal is simple: use AI to troubleshoot infrastructure and applications without exposing sensitive data.

ScrubAI automatically detects and pseudonymizes sensitive information such as IP addresses, domain names, URLs, email addresses, and secrets, while keeping replacements consistent throughout the input so that logs remain meaningful and useful for troubleshooting.

All processing is performed locally. Logs are not stored or sent to an external service, and the application requires no database or telemetry.

The sanitization engine uses configurable rules, making it easy to extend the types of sensitive data that can be detected and replaced.
